Don't Break Character
When giving a performance, one should always commit themselves to the character 100%-especially in auditions. It's okay to be nervous, but don't let your nerves get the best of you. Take a second, breathe then start your scene. If you flub a line, drop a line or loose your spot in your script, DON'T PANIC! Stay in character and commit to the end. After all, it's not the lines that are important, it's the subtext. If your subtext is saying "I messed up" or "I suck", then that's just the kind of audition you're going to give.
